Where Oh! Where

There are two kinds of lost:

Not knowing where you are

and

Not knowing where you are going.

After a reunion with some old friends I began to make my way back home. The sun was setting in the rear view at Tulsa and by the time we (the bike and I) arrived in Muskogee it was completely dark. The lights at the OG & E powerplant made for an oppurtunity to  take a break before heading down the lonely and dark Hiway 10. So, I pulled the Shadow into the unlite parking lot beside the river and, after realizing that I had no flashlight, fumbled with the buttons on the camera and somehow managed to log 78 shots. It’s amazing how this camera can find micro waves of light and make it appear as daytime in the picture.

Not without the approval of a local sheriff’s deputy and the bewilderment of a few late night fishermen did this photo  materialize. Then it was off into the night with thankfulness that the Shadow came with a windshield which served a much greater purpose tonight as a BUGSHIELD.
